Health & Physical Literacy Summit 2022 COVID-19 Protocol

The organizers of the Health & Physical Literacy Summit 2022 take the health, safety, and well-being of our attendees very seriously and will keep this at the forefront of our decision-making. At this time, we plan to hold the Summit in Birmingham. We will continue to monitor CDC guidelines as well as local policies and conditions in the coming weeks.

All attendees will be required to wear masks at the Summit at all times (except while actively eating/drinking). Presenters will be required to wear their masks while presenting.

  • Attendees are encouraged to wear masks KN95, KF94, or N95 quality masks or double-mask if using cloth masks, surgical masks, paper masks, or gaiters which some experts find to be less effective.
  • Masks must cover both the mouth and nose.
  • Individuals who have a documented disability which precludes the wearing of a mask may request a modification to mask policies. Please contact Donna Hester at [email protected] to discuss modification(s) to mask policies.

We strongly encourage all participants who are eligible to receive the COVID-19 booster in addition to being fully vaccinated prior to attending the event.
