Roots to Wings Foundation
An endowment fund to support the philosophy and mission of the Alabama State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance

The mission of the Foundation is to provide an opportunity for members, supporters, and the business community to invest in a permanent endowment fund. Proceeds from the fund will be used for projects to enhance professional growth of ASAHPERD members. Projects include scholarships, seminars, workshops, and special events. A presidential committee and the ASAHPERD Executive Committee are responsible for administering the Roots to Wings Foundation.

Four levels of contributions provide the opportunity for all members and supporters to participate in the Roots to Wings Foundation.

Accumulated Giving
Individuals may elect to make a series of contributions over a period of time. For example, contributions of $25/year over four years are recognized at the Donor level. Contributions of $100/year over five years are recognized at the Patron level.

Recognition
Contributions may be given in memory or honor of another person. A letter will be sent to the individual or his/her family acknowledging the gift.
